The company has been providing a range of unique solutions as event planning coordinators to the corporate sector since 1993. We are proud of this record which not many events companies can lay claim to. We have retained the MotivAction Team Building name as our Team Building Brand.

All our events are developed to suit your specific requirements; so, rather than providing off-the-shelf solutions, we prefer to work with you to tailor an event that meets your desired outcomes.
What is our purpose?
Our purpose is to provide you a complete and professional event-management service throughout any project that we are involved. We believe that precise event planning and preparation, in accordance with your objectives, is the key to delivering a professional conference or event.
We pride ourselves on our ability to package an entire event so as to minimise the amount of time and effort that you are obliged to commit during this process. If, however, you wish us to just provide certain services, we are happy to discuss that with you.

So, who are we?
We are a mother and daughter team consisting of Heather Shaw, Director, and Meredith Drucker, General Manager.
My role as General Manager covers the full spectrum of responsibilities from initial client contact through to the onsite delivery of events.
I have been involved in event management since 2005 through a variety of positions, including the delivery of corporate conferences and Team Building programmes at a YMCA camp in Maryland, USA.
Prior to purchasing the Events Group, I was involved in a variety of events. I started by delivering division-one basketball games for the North Harbour Basketball team, while working at the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health as Events Manager. My role also included sporting events, fun runs and marathons as well as corporate events. I am hands-on in every facet of the business, including concepts, proposals, delivery of events and the financial side.
We believe in supporting the community and have chosen to support CanTeen, a wonderful charity for young people and their families living with cancer.
